The Brennan family has been in the hairdressing industry on Sydney's Northern beaches since 1955. Son, John Brennan opened the first John Brennan Hair salon in 1992 at Mona Vale in the Northern suburbs of Sydney.

The John Brennan franchising system started in July 2001, after many years of development. The franchise works because it is a proven business model. During this time there has been phenomenal growth, there are now 29 salons in NSW, ACT, & VIC.

The driving force behind the success of this exciting and unique hairdressing franchise is John Brennan, who is Managing director of the John Brennan Hair group. John himself is a qualified hairdresser who has worked at the grass roots level of hairdressing for some 30 years.
