This organic hair and beauty salon takes environmental friendliness so seriously that it offers a recycling service for hair dryers and hair straighteners.

“We also refill shampoo and conditioner bottles,”
says co-owner Agnes Young.

And what they’re filling them with is a chemical-free product range, from Aveda.

“For over 20 years, all the hair care products in the range from colours to shampoo and conditioners have been made from natural ingredients.”

“The product cared about the environment well before it became fashionable to be “green,” Young says.

The plant-based ingredients include almond and coconut oil.
Treatments include “clean blondes, subtle to vibrant colours.”

Costs are comparable with other commercial colour brands.
