The Makeup Chair, in Canterbury, is a boutique studio specialising in hair & makeup styling for weddings and special occasions, eyelash extensions & spray tanning. We are expanding our business to include an exclusive Lash & Brow bar, and are looking for a dynamic, customer focus Beauy Therapist to provide a range of lash and brow treatments and waxing treatments.

The successful applicant MUST possess

-          a recognised accreditation in lash & brow tinting, brow shaping and facial waxing & bleaching.

-          immaculate presentation

-          an outgoing and polite manner

-          self motivation and the ability to work unsupervised

The role also involves the application of eyelash extensions and comprehensive training can be provided for the right applicant if you are not already trained in this skill.

Including the duties listed above this role will also involve

-          spray tanning

-          handling client bookings

-          creating and maintaining customer loyalty

-          retails sales

-          answering phone and walk in enquiries. Replying to email enquiries

-          handling and recording financial transactions

-          maintaining customer records

-          maintaining a high level of hygiene and cleanliness

-          maintaining stock levels

Other skills that will be highly regarded are

-          threading

-          makeup application

-          hair styling

Salary + Commision + Bonus

Hours are negotiable and will increase as your clientele increases.
