The candidate needs to be a qualified hairdresser (min of Cert III & 6 years experience), have a passion for styling & blowdrying & produce high quality work. Be commitment to excellent customer service, be well presented & reliable & have a professional with a willing & caring approach. They must possess strong retail experience & enjoy working as part of a dedicated team. They are seeking a senior hairstylist to commence on a casual basis with a view to increasing hours as the business grows.Current trading hours are Mon – Fri 7.30am to 6pm. The successful applicant will need be available to work varied hours as required within the trading hours.  It is essential you have the ability to be flexible with working hours & understand you will be required to work Saturdays as requested when weekend trading commences.

Experience in basin skills essential & application of basic colour & foils is preferred but not essential. Ongoing training provided.

This salon is looking for a fully qualified hairdresser that is confident with all aspects of hairdressing, including perming, blowdrying, setting, cutting, colouring etc. to work Monday, Friday and Saturday. Must be honest reliable & have excellent people skills, working with four other staff (female) members. The applicant must be a team player. They are a main stream busy salon, with clients ranging from the very young to the elderly.

Day spa applicants need to have experience in a salon, must be well presented, friendly, professional & work well in a team. However, the salon is not fussed with the applicants qualifications but must have great skills. The salon has 8 girls - all very friendly & very professional & very welcoming. The salon provides a great deal of in house training & workshops. The salon does all aspects of beauty from waxing, facials, tanning, body treatments to dermabrasion to soft tap. All applicants would start casual on 3 month trial then part time to full time, award wages with bonuses & many incentives. They use Thalgo skin care, Jane Iredale mineral makeup & pure Fiji body products.  

Nail Bar Technician (casual leading to FT)

The salon is looking a candidate to work in their busy, but relaxed, Nail Bar. This position will start part time/casual but can lead into a full time position & then management. Applicants must be very experienced in nails acrylic & gel, friendly & works well in a team, is able to work under pressure as the salon get very busy. The nail bar is separate from the Day Spa - it has 2 pedicure spa chairs, a waxing room, an automatic spray tan booth and 4 nail tables. Applicants don’t need to have a waxing certificate but would be an advantage.

Our services include Acrylic nails, Gel nails, Manicures, Pedicures, Waxing (inc. Xxx), Massage, Eye lash tinting & Spray Tanning. There are 2 positions available – one of which will lead to management when the owner takes maternity leave. We are looking for team players that fit the right role & are able to follow directions but also able to use initiative.
