Wearable Art Hairdressing is seeking a reliable, passionate & motivated hairdresser to join our friendly team. You must have a minimum four years experience and outstanding customer service skills. This is a Full Time Position in the Northern Suburbs in a small teamwork environment.

MULTIPLE HAIRDRESSER POSITIONS– Luke Reynolds Hairdressing

This salon is located in New Farm, it is a small (8 chair) boutique, up-market and chic salon. Our clientele are mostly professional, affluent women and men.  They regularily get involved in competition work, photographic and freelance work and offer exciting opportunities in the industry.

The owner has been in the industry for just over 14 years and has worked all over the world and in many facets of the industry so they have a strong code of ethics and expect complete dedication. They are a very fair and generous employer and really look after my staff.

Having the right staff is of the upmost importance as it is a small busy space and out clients have very high expectations. APPRENTICE HAIRDRESSER POSITION– Aquae Sulis Hairdressing Salon

Our Salon: Busy boutique salon in the hub of New Farm, varying clientele of all ages between 25 - 55 mostly with school students and young children occasionally, mainstream classic and current trends incorporating hair extensions & keratin reconstruction, providing very personalised customer service, mid to upper price bracket, stylish small/medium sized salon. We like to use Advanced Academy of Hairdressing at Kangaroo Point (Dockside) for college training as they have a very similar approach and practice more 1 on 1 training compared to other colleges.

We offer great working conditions, wages slightly above award and very reasonable hours only requiring Tues to Sat, 2 of which are late nights until approx 7-8pm and Saturdays until 4pm. Would prefer someone who has their own transport, but not essential and must live within 30mins from New Farm. Plenty of free parking available in the area and bus transportation.

Qualifications: Some experience in a salon, washing hair, but not necessary.

Personality Type: Very personable with clients of all ages, Courteous to clients and staff, great work ethic, Honest, Reliable, Demure not too loud, Enthusiastic and Passionate about the hair/fashion industry, Team player, Willing to assist senior staff as required and provide good support and backup, Willing to train in all aspects of hairdressing.

SENIOR BEAUTY THERAPIST – Wax Me Now

WaxMeNow is a vibrant, modern salon, located in Westfield’s Chermside Shopping Centre, with a rapidly growing clientele.

Responsibilities:

·         Providing waxing services, to both male and female clients

·         A role in the general housekeeping of the salon

·         Requirements

·         Fully qualified Beauty Therapist  

·         At least 6 months beauty salon work experience

·         Expertise with hard and strip waxes

·         Willingness to work Thursday evening and some weekends

What WaxMeNow offers:

·         Casual employment of approximately 30 hours per week

We are looking for a casual staff member with good fundamental beauty skills who has either a Certificate IV or Diploma in Beauty Therapy.  Located in Sanctuary Cove we are a Beauty Salon/ Day Spa specialising in skin therapies with under 10 staff.  Our services include: Waxing, tinting, massage, body treatments, day spa packages, manicure/pedicure, facial, IPL, Skin Needling, Micro, Endermologie, Cosmetic Injections and more.
