Senior Stylist / Hairdresser

Senior Stylists/Hairdressers are required to provide quality & professional hairdressing services including advice, cutting, styling, & colouring. Senior Stylists are expected to be able to; engage with their clients & determine their requirements; cut hair using clippers, scissors or razors; shampoo, condition and rinse hair; provide services such as bleaching, conditioning & tinting; dry & style hair using brushes, combs, straightening irons & other equipment; trim beards & moustaches. They must also be able to attend hairdressing seminars & training in order to keep up to date with new products & techniques & be able to operate a cash register with honesty & perform reception duties such as answering telephone calls & making appointments & provide training, assistance & development opportunities to apprentice staff & sell retail products, provide advice on treatments & products, write up client record cards & clean the salon, work areas & equipment.
