Certificate III Coordinator

The Melbourne Pivot Point Academy is the oldest and largest specialist Hairdressing Academy in Australia and New Zealand, and is seen as the highest benchmark in hairdressing education by the Industry.

Currently we have an opportunity for an experienced Certificate III Coordinator / Workplace Assessor to join our Melbourne team.

This role will see you primarily coordinating the Certificate III in Hairdressing course, with tasks such as timetabling, managing RPL applications, assisting staff with professional development, induction of new educators and conducting workplace training and assessment for our clients. You will also provide guidance to students in a classroom environment and in our student salon.

The successful candidate will possess:

• Experience within the vocational training sector
• Strong classroom management skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Excellent relationship building skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with employers, students, parents and other staff members
• Ability to multi-task and manage their own time effectively

The ideal candidate will be qualified in Certificate III & IV in Hairdressing, be familiar with ATTP, GSS and AQTF compliance, have experience as a workplace assessor and also be familiar with Pivot Point resources.
